Overrated: Green Day - Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) it's not that it's a bad song, but most people misinterperate it and that irritates me. people like it because they think it's romantic but it's basically a 'fuck you' song to an ex.

Underrated: Green Day - JAR it's not really that well-known because it was only ever on international superhits, but i really love it. the last verse that starts 'gotta make a plan, gotta do what's right' is great. it really captures the feeling of living in the moment, and enjoying life while you're young.

My Chemical Romance
Overrated: My Chemical Romance - Thank You For The Venom i really like the opening riff to the song, but i really never understood why it was always a fan favourite. to me, it doesn't stand out. i understand the lyrics, but i find them hard to relate to. i never really understood what the chorus means, if it's meant to be a metaphor, or it's just silly lyrics.

Underrated: My Chemical Romance - I Don't Love You i always loved this song. whenever it was revealed that it was going to be the next single, on the my chemical romance communites, a lot of people were dissapointed. i remember someone asking what My Chemical Romance song you liked the least, and a lot of people said I Don't Love You. i think the stark honesty of the song is amazing. it really works well in contrast to the rest of the album. there are no metaphors or anything, it's just simple and to the point.

Foo Fighters
Overrated: Foo Fighters - Big Me i used to really like this song. you can tell it's been poorly produced, and the vocals aren't great, but that's part of it's charm. but jesus, people really like it. it's nothing special compared to a lot of their other matieral.

Underrated: Foo Fighters - DOA it's a much better song than best of you in my opinion.

The Smiths
Overrated: The Smiths - Please Let Me Get What I Want i just don't get that song at all. but apparently it's a classic.
